Meet Ann Marie Nugent
My business and personal life adheres to the basic principles of “Always do the right thing, and always deliver an extraordinary customer experience.” I invest the time to learn each client’s unique requirements and provide them with the information necessary to make correct decisions in the complex environment of residential real estate – both locally and internationally.
I started off my real estate career in 1997 as Rookie of the Year and I have received numerous industry awards ever since. I love my business and it shows because of the “raving fans” who keep spreading the word about the experience a customer has with my real estate services. I am an active member of the Association of Realtors in the Bay Area, California and nationally. I have earned my Global Relocation Specialist certification which allows me to represent distinctive homes and estates worldwide. I have been trained nationally by the nation’s top Relocation companies, and I continue to be a valued member of the global relocation industry.
In 2007 were inducted into the Who’s Who of Luxury Real Estate – an invitation only international real estate organization. There are currently nearly 1,900 firms worldwide in this exclusive organization with more than 5,000 offices and 120,000 agents. We are honored to be one of these firms. This assembly of brokerage firms and individuals collectively sells over $100 billion in real estate every year, with an average sale price of $2,200,000.
In 2009 we were invited into membership of FIABCI – The International Real Estate Federation. FIABCI is local, national, and worldwide. Established over 56 years ago, the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) is the only truly international organization of its kind in the world. It is comprised of professionals in all areas of the real estate industry united in one common goal – erase the borders of International real estate and provide the world with a team of experts to meet their real estate needs.
I grew up in San Marino in Southern California. Before settling in the San Ramon Valley, I relocated several times around the world; Geneva, Switzerland, where my three children were born; Toronto, Canada; and the San Francisco Bay Area. While living abroad I worked for the United Nations, Geneva International Airport, bringing Caviar House to North America, and launched a leaded crystal wine tasting glass company out of the Czech Republic that supplied tasting glasses to the Napa – Sonoma wine districts. Each of these experiences has allow me to clearly understand customer service, and the challenges of moving across a continent or simply across town.
When I am not serving my clients, I do have a very active and interesting life. The number one priority I have is my family. When I am not playing with my college age kids, my husband and I are exploring the world – from the Caribbean to Europe. I also love to ski, gourmet cooking, discovering fine wines, and reading. Remember, no one knows the world of real estate like we do. Contact me today.
