Meet Jim Walberg
The value statement for all of my life’s endeavors is Win / Win or no deal! My commitment is to deliver a customer service experience that creates clients for life. My attention to the details, dedication to extraordinary service and by just plain hard work is what has created a 100% referral based real estate business!
My residential real estate career started in 1990. Since the moment of serving my first client I knew I had found my passion – personally serving people in the most significant financial decision of their lives. Since that date I have been honored to serve as the President of the Realtors Marketing Association three different times. I have been a member of the East Bay business community since 1970. I moved to Danville in the early 1970’s participating in the responsible development of this beautiful region of the Bay Area. Because of being a business owner for over 40 years I clearly understand the steps required to complete the process of buying or selling a home for the highest price, in the shortest period of time, and with the least amount of stress possible, whether across town or across the country.
I love what I do each day of growing our real estate business. However, I do have more to my life than real estate. I love to sail. Because of that love I have sailed in the Caribbean since 1975, and I am even a “shell-back”. My love of sailing evolved into owning a real estate company in the Caribbean – Caribbean Islands Realty. This has been a division of The Bay Area Team since 2005 and is growing leaps and bounds as we serve Buyers from the U.S., Europe, and Asia. I also love to ski, SCUBA dive, tend my rose garden, climb mountains, and read. Traveling the world is not only a hobby but a passion. There is nothing like getting a stamp on my passport.
What a blessing to be in business with my wife, Ann Marie, and to have three college age kids that deliver joy to us everyday. I am the luckiest guy I know – loving my life and my career. Every moment of every day is a gift.
