East Bay Real Estate: Capt. Sully & Lorrie Sullenberger To Lead Hike July 24th

Obviously, all of the Bay Area knows that Capt. Sully and Lorrie live in Danville. The are avid supporters of the projects that Maria Shriver leads, one of which is Best Buddies Challenge September 11th at Hearst Castle. This is a major fundraiser with Audi as the sponsor. Sully and Lorrie will be participating in the Best Buddies event which is a bike ride from Carmel to San Simeon along the coast. To be a rider you need to raise funds as your entry ticket.
So, today I received an email from Lorrie asking if I would help spread the word about a hike they are hosting on July 24th at Oak Hill Park, in Danville which starts at 9AM and ends at noon. It is a fund raiser for the Best Buddies – Team Maria event. The hike’s donation is $45 a person or $150 for a family of five. To RSVP send an email to bjibby@deweysquare.com. It will a fun morning of hiking with friends and neighbors as you get the latest updates of what Sully and Lorrie have been doing since he became the “Hero Of The Hudson”.
