Families of the Fallen Oakland Police Officers Supported Today!
July 18, 2009 by Jim Walberg · 2 Comments
An army of volunteers hosted a Pancake Breakfast today at the Alamo Women’s Club in support of the four families that were left behind after the shooting deaths of four Oakland Police Officers last March in their line of duty. It is important for all of us to never forget the contribution that law enforcements makes each day to keep our freedoms safe.
It was such a pleasure to see so many Realtors working side by side in hosting the Pancake Breakfast at the Alamo Women’s Club today in support of four amazing families. As you remember, last March four Oakland police officers were gunned down during the attempted arrest of a wanted criminal. It was the worst day in the history of the Oakland Police Department.
The four officers were laid to rest at a standing room only memorial service at Oracle Arena. There were representatives from law enforcement from across American in attendance. A huge challenge of this type of tragedy is what happens after everyone goes back to their homes. The four families and friends connected to these four deaths are still here and need the communities support – both emotionally and financially. Read more

Beverly Steiner Chosen As Recipient Of Women Of Distinction Award!

Since 2002 East Bay Business Times has honored business women who thrive through tough times because of their talent and resourcefulness. Keller Williams Realty congratulates Beverly Steiner for this well deserved honor.
On February 26th at the Palm Event Center in Pleasanton, the San Francisco Business Times honored 15 East Bay Women Of Distinction. Beverly Steiner (YouTube), owner of Keller Williams Realty in Northern California was one the remarkable women honored. These amazing women represented retail, real estate, non-profits, health care, finance, science and many other industries. These women business leaders make a significant
difference each day in the East Bay companies and organizations they serve and lead each day.
I had the opportunity to speak with Beverly after the event and got some first hand insights into this year’s honoree. Beverly Steiner started her real estate career at age 18. In 2000 she launched the second Keller Williams Realty office in Northern California. She is now one of the owners Keller Williams Realty – Northern California & Hawaii Region. Keller Williams Realty has moved from a ranking of 14th in East Bay real estate
companies and has now moved to 3rd! It was honored two years ago as the East Bay Business Times Real Estate Company Of The Year. Keller Williams is the nations third largest real estate company in North America, and the Northern California/Hawaii region is the #1 region in the Keller Williams international network of market centers!
The greatest part of Beverly Steiner’s job is the teaching, training, and mentoring that she does with Realtors and business owners across the country as one of only a handful of Keller Williams University’s International Master Faculty members. She is also one of the national board members of Keller Williams Cares, a non-profit organization that assists Keller Williams associates and their families when a catastrophic event shows up in their lives. For example, over $5 million was contributed to the Keller Williams Realtors and employees that were devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
You now have an idea why Beverly Steiner was selected for such a well deserved honor as one of the 15 Women Of Distinction in the East Bay. Congratulations!!! East Bay Real Estate Mystery Is Solved! Keller Williams Realty Is Moving!
May 25, 2008 by Jim Walberg · Leave a Comment
I just got the confirmation…Keller William-Danville is moving to the Rose Garden Village!
So, my commercial Realtor friend, Gary Riele has finally confirmed to me that Keller Williams – Danville is moving from the Theater Arts Building on La Gonda Way to the Rose Garden Village at the corner of 680 and Sycamore Valley Road around August 1st. As I mentioned last week, their lease was up and they decided not to renew it because of the building owner being unwilling to be their advocate to the Town Of Danville in securing signage on the building. KW-Danville has been in their present location for five years without any public signage letting people know they are located in that office building. Apparently enough was enough.
With this move it will allow KW-Danville to consolidate all of their office space on one floor – over 7,200 square feet, have a location that puts them right in the middle of the newest retails center in Danville, and get signage on the building in several areas allowing anyone driving by or driving into the Rose Garden Village that a dynamic and growing real estate company is standing ready to meet all of their real estate needs.
Keller Williams Realty is the fourth largest real estate company in North America with over 90,000 Realtors serving customers from all over Canada and the United States. It is a company who lives by value statements that they refer to as the WI4C2TS;
- Win – Win – Or no deal.
- Integrity – Always do the right thing. ( What one does when no one is looking.)
- Customers – Always come first.
- Commitment – In all things
- Communication – Seek first to understand
- Creativity – Ideas before results
- Teamwork – Together everyone achieves more
- Trust – Begins with honesty
- Success – Results through people
- To an industry of traditional values Keller Williams Realty brings a new pinnacle of inter-dependent beliefs and values that their Realtors follow. I know this to be true because I have experienced for over three years. Let me know if would like to find out more about this amazing company with a specific business model for Realtors to follow everyday. Until next time…
